It's written in Uthmani style, which is the style used for Holy Quran of Madinah. This helps engrave the words in memory using The Doman Method.

You can use those cards to teach your child after learning the Arabic Alphabet, or even before and at a very early age. Both have been proven effective.

I must say that the division of the words between cards has been set taking into account the Tajweed and some Arabic reading fluency rules. If more than one word are put together in one card, this means that they should never be separated when start learning to read Quran, as they most probably will lead to uncomfortable reading.

One more thing, what is in gray should be ignored unless you're linking the corresponding word with the first word in the next card, which is not recommended.
